The UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on Monday launched economic projects, including accelerators for family businesses, an economic research institute.
This came during Sheikh Mohammed’s visit to Ministry of Economy on Monday.
Sheikh Mohammed said "UAE's economic work continues and is accelerating and is moving in the right direction."
Sheikh Mohammed launched a Skill-Up Academy and a new platform to support the growth of start-up companies to be large Scale-up Platform.
He also launched a smart portal, Grow in UAE to provide integrated information on investment policies and opportunities.
“The new initiatives are part of a clear national agenda to attract young and skilled talents to the country,” said Sheikh Mohammed.
“Our government team was reconstituted last summer so that all ministries, internal, external and legislative institutions work to focus on one clear goal that is the economic growth of the United Arab Emirates for the next fifty years,” he said further.
He also announced a global investment conference that will be held on March 22 that will focus on the opportunities of the new economy in the country.
Accelerators for family businesses will support them in entering new markets and the economic research institute will be launched in cooperation with the most prestigious international universities.
