The Saudi Moon Sighting committee said that they have not sighted the moon on Tuesday evening and that Eid Al Fitr will be on Thursday

The committees said Wednesday will be 30th Ramadan.

Media Office said, “The UAE announces that Wednesday will be the last day of the month of Ramadan, and Thursday, May 13, will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr."

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has clarified the guidelines for performing Eid Al Fitr prayers in the emirate aimed at protecting the community from COVID-19.

Prayer halls will open 15 minutes before the Eid Al Fitr prayers; Eid prayer and sermon to last for 15 minutes.

Mosques to close immediately after prayers are completed; Women’s prayer halls to remain closed.

Worshippers must adhere to all precautionary measures including wearing face masks, maintaining physical distancing and avoid physical greetings.
