The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2,112 new coronavirus cases on Thursday.

In addition to the new cases, 2,191 have recovered and three people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted 249,014 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 478,131 new coronavirus cases, 463,032 have recovered and 1,523 passed away.
