Good news for car enthusiasts as Custom Show Emirates 2021, the Middle East’s biggest custom cars and bikes exhibition, is back for its sixth annual edition which is scheduled to take place at Sheikh Saeed Hall of the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 8 to April 10.
Originally scheduled to take place last year, the show was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and now is back to showcase an extraordinary edition.
More than 30,000 visitors are expected to attend the largest car event in the UAE which will give visitors the opportunity to see hundreds of modified cars both in the UAE and neighbouring countries, who are participating in the exhibition annually.
The show not only provides premium automotive entertainment to its visitors but also serves as a B2B and B2C platform that connects suppliers and retailers of tuning and after-market products, directly with buyers and end consumers. The show is also a strategic partner of SEMA (Speciality Equipment Market Association) show, US.
Over the years, the Custom Show Emirates grew increasingly popular and now serves as a one-stop place for enthusiasts, providing them all the technical specs.
The show will also highlight the latest in auto customisation products and services, feature international pavilions and showcase several new and exciting activities such as; 4x4 Drifting, Saloon Drifting, Stunt Driving, Cars and Bikes Parade, Live Customisation, Battle Of The Engines, Bikers Build-Off, Car Audio Competitions, RC Arena, Motorsports Hall, Performance Zone, Dyno Zone, SEMA Garage and much more, to keep the adrenaline rushing for the visitors.
Omar Hussein Al Attar, Executive Director and Acting Chairman of the exhibition, billed this year’s edition will be different from the previous ones as Custom Show Emirates will see the participation of government agencies including Dubai Police, Civil Defence, Dubai Ambulance, Dubai Media Corporation, Al Oula Radio, and Dubai Calendar, joining as a strategic partner and as a participant in the exhibition.
“Another highlight of the event is a competition for the strongest modified car, between government and local authorities and at the motorcycle level, beautiful and powerful bikes are expected to be shared.
“In terms of engine competition, there are two activities this year, the eight-cylinder and six-cylinder, starting with assembling the engine and then installing it on the car and then being tested to determine the number of horses,” he added.
He pointed out that the exhibition attracts new participants and there are well-known workshops at the local and regional level. Despite the pandemic, the event has garnered participation from Europe, America and the GCC.
