Department of Health in Abu Dhabi has encouraged the citizens and residents to book appointments for Covid-19 vaccination.

Residents of Abu Dhabi can book appointment at more than 100 locations across the emirate for the vaccination.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention announced that free Covid-19 vaccines are now open to all UAE residents aged 16 and above.

This comes after the ministry prioritised the elderly and other vulnerable groups for the jab for six weeks. Starting Sunday, March 21, all eligible residents aged 16 and above can book appointments to get the jab.

56.59 per cent of the eligible UAE population have received a Covid-19 vaccine

72.89 per cent of senior citizens and people with chronic diseases in the UAE have received a Covid-19 vaccine

“In line with the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention’s (MoHAP) vaccine rollout plan, Department of Health is encouraging citizens and residents in Abu Dhabi to book an appointment for vaccination at any of more than 100 locations across the emirate. To book, visit http://doh.gov.ae,” the Abu Dhabi Media Office said.

Booking an appointment is required for those choosing to vaccinate.
