The municipality said, “The total commitment rate reached 99 per cent, the number of inspection visits reached 2,378, 3 establishments were closed, and 23 warnings were made.”

The authorities said 2 salons were closed in Al Karama area due to overcrowding, while a restaurant was shut down in Al Barsha 1 for not adhering to social distancing.

Dubai Economy said that during the month of February, 10 businesses were closed, 93 were warned and 246 were fined for not following precautionary measures set to limit COVID-19.
