President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, along with other sheikhs toured the protected forest of Ghanada on Thursday.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed was seen sharing a light moment with Sheikh Khalifa at a tent in the middle of the reserve.

Sheikh Khalifa was briefed on the development work in the reserve, praising the efforts made to preserve the environment and natural resources from waste and excessive consumption, and what the country has achieved in the field of protecting wildlife in general.

Abu Dhabi’s Ras Gharab and Ras Ghanada have been identified as sites with dense mangrove occurrence.
