Cyberpunk 2077 – This is how big the day one patch...

After developer CD Projekt RED had recently postponed the Open Word spectacle again, it was also announced at the same time that the supposed blockbuster would also receive a rambling day-one patch. The employees recently worked on this content with considerable overtime. How big this update will ultimately be has not yet been announced. The retail chain BestBuy has already sent out the first versions of the game in the USA, so that buyers can at least download the patch in advance. Of course, the final size of the update has now also been made public. In total, the patch should take up 56.3 gigabytes on your hard drive. Suspending the Day-One patch despite its immense size is not recommended, however, as the main game will look rather unfinished without an update.

Previously, the size of the base game was already leaked. At around 72 GB, this is not small either, which shouldn’t be surprising for such an ambitious open world hit. Cyberpunkt 2077 will now officially be released on December 10th.
