The Razer Viper Ultimate is already one of the best wireless gaming mice out there. So what could do better? Turns it into a bright yellow Cyberpunk 2077 Edition.

The bright yellow Cyberpunk 2077 The edition was announced some time ago, but it’s finally available to Australians starting this morning. It’s the same physical case, sensor, and mouse base as the original Viper Ultimate Wireless, and the weight is unchanged.

Given that the performance is no different, here’s a snippet from my review of the Razer Viper Ultimate:

The important things first. If you loved the Viper, the Razer Viper Wireless has almost all of the same features. The chassis has been tweaked a bit, with a few minor tweaks to smooth out the gaps around the mouse wheel and left and right mouse clicks, but otherwise the shape and general materials haven’t changed. It’s an ambidextrous mouse that is similar in shape to Zowie’s FK series, a longer device with a lower hump for the palm than what you get from Logitech’s G Pro Wireless, the super-light MM710 series from Cooler Master or would see the perforated ergonomic shapes of the Xtrfy mice.

What’s interesting is how Razer engineered the Viper Wireless to be basically the same weight as the wired Viper – there is only 5 grams of difference, which brings the wireless model to 74 grams. This is lighter than the G Pro Wireless and is in the same area as some of the larger ultra-light wired mice like the Glorious Model O and Ultralight Phantom, but the Viper Wireless has no holes throughout, which is a huge plus if you have your own worried about the stuff.

It’s a good mouse, although the marketing bond obviously comes to one extremely Effort. The Cyberpunk 2077 Razer Viper Ultimate is only available from the Razer Store and costs just $ 299.95 (you also can’t buy it without the redesigned charging dock).

It’s the only bit of Cyberpunk 2077 Themed merch available from Razer that Australians can access, although at $ 299.95 I’d say that’s enough to spend on a single product. (For those who might be reluctant to pay – fair cop, but then it’s probably worth remembering how gamers love to forego collector editions of video games, including some of the ridiculous $ 1000+ Assassin’s Creed Versions Ubisoft sells.)

The Cyberpunk 2077 The Razer Viper Ultimate Mouse is available now in the Razer Store. If you like the mouse but don’t want the premium, it’s available a little cheaper elsewhere. (And if that’s too much, here’s a list of alternatives.)
