‘Genshin Impact’ Marvelous Merchandise Farm Guide: Where to Find Pine Cones

Genshin Impact is a free role-playing game with an ongoing story. In between narrative updates, there are often short-term events happening in the game, such as the Elemental Crucible co-op combat mode and, more recently, a new event called Marvelous Merchandise. Meanwhile, an NPC named Liben lets you find 10 items for him each day for the duration of the event.

On October 27th, Liben is looking for 10 pine cones.

Here are the top three places to find pine cones for him.

How do you find Pinecones in Genshin Impact?

Pine cones are often found in under fir trees Genshin Impact. If you don’t know how to spot a fir tree, look for trees with thin trunks with short, jagged branches at the bottom and flaky, thin foliage in the top half. Here is a picture of the tree you need to find.

Look under the tree for the pine cones you want. You can also use Elemental Sight to locate pinecones in areas where you know they will appear.

Three locations where Pinecones can be grown Genshin Impact

1. Qingce Village

If you use the village teleportation waypoint in Liyue you will immediately find a bridge that has up to nine pine cones on it. Make sure to use the waypoint above the “Q” in Qingce on the map for easy access.

2. Stormbars Mountains

Teleport to the northernmost waypoint in the Stormbearer Mountains and hike to the Anemo Hypostasis Boss. Along the way, you should come across several fir trees that reveal numerous pine cones. The largest cluster in the region is located directly west of the Anemo boss.

3. Wolvendom

The area just north of Dawn Winery has pine cones scattered throughout. There aren’t any clusters like you might find in the previous spots, but it’s great if you need extra pine cones to round out your inventory.

What can you do with Pinecones? Genshin Impact?

When you’ve already reached the amount required for Liden’s daily request, you can use the remaining pine cones for a meal. After you have reached Adventure Rank 15, you will unlock the unique Temple of the Wolf dungeon. You can complete it to unlock a recipe for Mondstadt Hash Browns.

Two pine cones, a potato and a jar of jam are required for each serving. It’s easy enough to do. The court restores 30 to 34 percent of the maximum HP and grants an additional bonus of 600 to 1,900 HP. Great to eat when you are in the blink of an eye.
