Some changes are coming to PlayStation Store soon and among the changes that are happening, Sony will no longer be offering PS3, PS Vita and PSP games online and on the mobile app.
We, among many others, received an email detailing the new PlayStation Store changes that will begin here soon. From October 21 to 26 for the online store and October 28 for mobile, PlayStation fans will not be able to purchase the following:
PlayStation 3 Games and all add-ons PSP Games and all add-ons PlayStation Vita Games and add-ons Applications Themes Avatars
The wishlist feature is also removed, so all remaining items in this wishlist will be removed. “The content listed above will no longer be available for purchase from the PS Store when accessed through a desktop or mobile device,” the email read. “However, you will still be able to purchase PS3, PSP or PS Vita content by accessing the PS Store directly from your PS3, PSP or PS Vita. PlayStation 4 apps, themes and avatars can also be downloaded through the PS Store on your PS4 console. ”
