Thank you for reading the news about ESC holds virtual B2B meet to boost UAE-India IT trade and now with the details
Aden - Yasmine El Tohamy - India's Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), with the support of the Embassy of India of Abu Dhabi, organised a virtual B2B meeting between the UAE and India industry on Tuesday, with an objective to augment electronics and IT trade between the two countries.
The emanation of the ESC in the late-1980s was when software export was unknown, IT export volume was just a few millions of dollars and was limited to the United States. Today, India exports $155 billion to several destinations, be they developed, developing, emerging or least-developed markets.
Ever since the ESC started exporting software products and solutions, strategies and trust have changed. India has moved to high-end products and complex solutions, and those changes are gradual and enduring, creating better lives the world over.
The UAE and India are making good efforts to scale their economic and trade links to new heights and it is anticipated that economic and trade links between the two countries will deepen further. And IT could play a very important role in furthering the trade between them, said Gurmeet Singh, executive director of the ESC.
