Ismaily director of football Sabry El-Meniawy has assured the Yellows will not be looking to sign Al Ahly left back Hussein El-Sayed once again after the club’s failed attempt last summer.
Ismaily currently sit in the ninth place in the Egyptian Premier League table with 13 points after the first 10 rounds.
They had done a fresh deal with Al Ahly for Mahmoud Metwally, who joined the Red Devils, with El-Sayed involved in talks as part of the deal.
“When Metwally joined Al Ahly we requested to sign three players including El-Sayed on loan,” El-Meniawy said.
“The player exaggerated in his financial requests and put earning 5 million EGP before stepping on the picth. We didn’t like this, he won’t be an option for Ismaily anymore.”
“We need to sign a left back, defender, playmaker and a striker in January. If we succeeded in reinforcing two or three of these positions it will be a very good step.”
