Liverpool club highlighted four new records, achieved by its Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, during the team’s match against Milan 2-1, in the last sixth round of the group stage of the Champions League.
Salah scored the equalizer for Liverpool against Milan (1-1), in the 36th minute, before his Belgian colleague Divock Origi scored the Reds’ winning goal in the 55th minute.

Liverpool said on its website that Salah became the third fastest player in the team to score 20 goals in one season, after Ian Rush (1986) and Roger Hunt (1961).
He added that the Egyptian star has now scored at least 20 goals in his fifth consecutive season with Liverpool, and is the first player from the red team to do so since Rush (1981-1982).
The Liverpool website indicated that Salah’s seven goals in the Champions League this season are the largest number scored by any Liverpool player in the group stage of a European competition.
Salah also became the first player in the “Reds” to score at least a goal in five matches in the group stage of the same European season.
