Mido announcing the failure of his son’s registration in Zamalek: a...

Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former striker, captain and coach of Zamalek, announced the failure to register his son in the ranks of the club, after the decision of the International Football Association in support of the Cass Court to prevent Al-Abyad from being registered for two consecutive terms.

Mido wrote through his personal account on the social networking site Twitter: “The decision to stop the restriction is catastrophic. Zamalek can’t even restrict the juniors. They lost the future of the juniors. The 2006 squad has only 14 players who will play the league, how.”

Mido, who announced this Thursday morning the suspension of his program on Al-Nahar channel, added: “We took a guard from the clearinghouse. It will not be useful to play, born in 2003, and there is no other guard… Even Ali, my son, is forbidden to play!! I don’t know what to do!!”.

And the Zamalek administration had received a notification from the International Sports Court today stating that the petition submitted to raise the penalty for stopping the registration for two periods was rejected, which means that any new player from all age groups will be banned from joining the ranks of Al-Abyad.

FIFA had issued a decision last June to prevent Zamalek from being registered for two consecutive terms, due to his contract with the player Hossam Ashraf, despite his enrollment in the ranks of a Cameroonian academy.
