Thank you for reading the news about Pacheco: Absences won’t affect us against Teungueth and now with the details
Dubai - Yasmine El Tohamy - Zamalek boss Jaime Pacheco has warned that Senegalese side Teungueth is a good team and that his side has to perform at their best in order to win their second group stage game in the CAF Champions League.
The Whites had a disappointing start to their CAF Champions League campaign as they were held to a 0-0 home draw by MC Alger.
Their second game will see them face Senegal’s Teungueth away from home after the latter lost their opening game to Espérance 2-1.
Pacheco will be without a couple of his key players in Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh and skipper Hazem Emam due to injury. In addition to Mohamed Ashraf Rouka due to passport issue.
“We will take on every game to win and gain the three points. Teungueth is a strong side and have high qualities, we have to work hard and be at our best to win,” Pacheco said in a press conference.
“We won’t be affected by injuries and we have several alternatives that can replace any absent player. We want to collect as many points as possible to secure quarterfinal qualification,” he added.
The game will take place on Tuesday, February 23 in a clash that could complicate the group for Zamalek if they fail to win.
