- Yasmine El Tohamy - Tanzania’s Young Africans head coach Cedric Kaze believes that Al Ahly’s Pitso Mosimane should be an example for all African coaches to follow.

Pitso created a historic moment that will be remembered by every fan of Al Ahly for decades to come when he guided the club to the 2020 CAF Champions League title over arch-rivals Zamalek.

Moreover, he led the Reds to a historic Club World Cup bronze medal after beating Copa Libertadores champions Palmeiras just last week.

Being the first Sub-Saharan head coach to take over Al Ahly, Burundi’s Cedric Kaze says that Pitso is an inspiration to every African coach right now.

“He [Pitso Mosimane] is an inspiration to every African coach who is working very hard to get to the highest football level in Africa and beyond,” Kaze told CAFOnline.com

“He has taught us a very good lesson that if you work hard, you can get anywhere. Now, an African coach is coaching the best club in the world.

“The meaning of that is very huge and it should give every African coach a boost to believe in what we are doing, to work very hard, and to know that there are no limits.

“I believe that we, African coaches, put ourselves a limit. In future, I want to reach a very good level.
