Ahead of their clash, Pyramids have been dealt a blow as they will be without last season’s first-choice goalkeeper El-Mahdi Soliman and centre-back Abdallah Bakri.
Soliman had posted a cryptic message on Instagram implying his frustration over lack of playing time this season.

The 33-year-old has made just one appearance in the league this season after falling down the pecking order to summer-signing Sherif Ekramy.
His social-media post was deemed as insulting and disrespectful by Pyramids officials, and as a result, Soliman was suspended indefinitely by the club.
Meanwhile, his teammate Bakri had commented on his post and supported Soliman’s claims, which forced Pyramids to suspend as well as fine him EGP 500,000.
Bakri hasn’t played a game for Pyramids since their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Ittihad of Alexandria in the Egyptian Premier League opener this season.
