Thank you for reading the news about Zamalek, Aswan game referees suspended following poor performance and now with the details
Dubai - Yasmine El Tohamy - Egyptian referees Mohamed Youssef and Mostafa Medhat have been suspended by the Egyptian FA (EFA) following their poor performance during the Zamalek and Aswan game.
Zamalek were held to a goalless draw against Aswan in their last game of the Egyptian Premier League.
During the game, the main referee, Mohamed Youssef, failed to give two referees to the Whites. Meanwhile, the VAR referee, Mostafa Medhat, failed to overturn these decisions.
As a result, both referees were suspended by the EFA until further investigation.
Zamalek are now level on points with arch-rivals Al Ahly once again at the top of the Egyptian Premier League table.
Their next game will be on Thursday January 28th against seventh-place Misr El-Makkasa.
