Thank you for reading the news about Tunisia winger makes return to Esperance and now with the details
Tunisia international Anice Badri has officially completed his transfer to Tunisia giants Esperance de Tunis following his departure from Ahmed Hegazi’s side Ittihad Jeddah after terminating his deal.
Badri has just joined Saudi outfit Al Ittihad earlier in the 2020 January transfer window, after spending four prolific years at Esperance while also making appearances at the 2018 World Cup with Tunisia.
The 30-year-old managed to score 10 goals and create three in 23 games for both Esperance and Al Ittihad last season.
Badri has not been performing as expected in the Yellow and Black colors and was eventually excluded from their squad for the 2020/2021 season.
Therefore, the Tunisian winger decided to rescind his deal with the Saudi Professional League outfit.
Esperance announced on Monday they have brought back Badri on a year and a half contract which is set to end in June 2022.
Badri will compete with Esperance in the 2021 CAF Champions League Group D along with Cairo giants Zamalek, Algeria’s MC Alger and Teungueth of Senegal.
Badri has played 119 games in his first spell with Esperance, scoring 37 goals and registering 28.
