Thank you for reading the news about Al Ahly’s Ahmed Yasser Rayan joins Ceramica Cleopatra FC on loan and now with the details
Dubai - Yasmine El Tohamy - Al Ahly forward Ahmed Yasser Rayan has joined newly-promoted Ceramica Cleopatra FC on loan until the end of the season.
Rayan had a successful loan spell at El-Gouna last season and guided them to 13th place in the Egyptian Premier League.
The 22-year-old was expected to break into Al Ahly’s lineup this season and become part of Pitso Mosimane’s plans for the season.
However, the arrival of Congolese forward Walter Bwalya in January saw Rayan fall further in the pecking order, with Mahmoud Kahraba and Mohamed Sherif being Mosimane’s preferred options upfront.
Rayan has made only six appearances for the Reds this season, starting only once, and provided one assist in their 4-0 victory over AS SONIDEP.
As a result, Rayan opted to join newly-promoted Ceramica Cleopatra to seek more game time and try to rediscover his form ahead of the Olympics in the summer.
