The Brisbane season ended with a heartbreak but there could be a silver lining tonight with hot favorite midfielder Lachie Neale picking up tonight’s Brownlow medal.
A Lions player hasn’t won the AFL’s most prestigious award since 2002, but Neale, who excelled in Saturday night’s preliminary final defeat to Geelong, is a short-priced favorite to end the drought.

As of 3pm, Neale was a $ 1.22 favorite at Pointsbet, with Melbourne’s Christian Petracca strongly believing he was the big engine at $ 7.
Petracca and Neale will be at the Gabba tonight to read the voices from Metricon Stadium with AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan.
