Thank you for reading the news about OFFICIAL: Sherif Ekramy signs for Pyramids FC and now with the details
Former Al Ahly goalkeeper and Egypt international, Sherif Ekramy, has signed for Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids FC on a free transfer.
Ekramy had announced that his journey with his boyhood club was coming to an end after the end of the current season after falling down the pecking order.
However, he was released earlier than expected by the Red Castle after failing to appear to training, encouraging the coaching staff to let him go.
It was also also reported that, along with his father, Ekramy played a big part in influencing Ramadan Sobhi’s decision to also join Pyramids, tarnishing his relationship with the club officials and fans.
The 36-year-old has now signed a three-year deal as a free agent with his new side, where he will share the pitch with former Al Ahly teammates Ahmed Fathi and Abdallah El-Said.
