Besiktas are said to be keen on extending Mohamed Elneny’s stay in Istanbul for another year, according to multiple reports.

Elneny had joined Besiktas on a year loan from Arsenal last year and became a regular for the Black Eagles in the Turkish Super Lig, missing out on just four games due to suspension.

The 28-year-old has had issues with Besiktas regarding his wages as the club took a financial hit due to the coronavirus pandemic.
