Dubai - Yasmine El Tohamy - Zamalek have reportedly discovered two COVID-19 positive cases in the second round of PCR tests conducted by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA).
The EFA had announced that all league players must take the PCR test twice, with at least five days separating each test.
And on Friday, Zamalek players and staff had undergone the coronavirus swab test for the second time and it was confirmed that two members had tested positive.
According to local reports, the two positive cases include a player from Zamalek’s first team and a staff member.
It’s worth noting that Zamalek goalkeeper Mohamed Awad had announced that he contracted coronavirus last week.
The Egyptian Premier League is set to resume on 7 August after being halted for almost five months.
