This week the most notable performances came from the Egyptian King, who scored as Liverpool edged West Ham United 3-2 and Ahmed Hegazi, who secured two consecutive cleansheets against Bristol City and Preston North End.

Christopher Cadden broke the deadlock in the first minute, however, Brian White leveled things up for Red Bulls in the second half. Premier League – Trezeguet came on as a substitute, meanwhile, Elmohamady remained on the bench as Villa fell to a disappointing 2-0 defeat against Southampton in the 27th league fixture. Following the loss, the Villans occupy the 17th league spot with 25 points ahead of their anticipated clash against Manchester City in the EFL Cup final on the first of March.

Ahmed Hegazi – West Bromwich Albion (England)

Championship – Hegazi secured an impressive cleansheet as West Brom thrashed Bristol City 3-0 in the 34th fixture. Callum Robinson opened the scoring followed by a brace from Hal Robson-Kanu. After the win, the Baggies remain at the top spot with 66 points before hosting Preston North End on Feb.25.

Sam Morsy – Wigan (England)

Championship – The Egyptian captained Wigan to a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Millwall in the Championship’s 34th fixture, thanks to Shaun Hutchinson’s own goal. The critical win moves the Latics closer to escaping the relegation zone as they occupy the 22nd spot with 34 points, just three points away from Middlesbrough ahead of the away encounter against Reading on the 26th of February.

Mohamed Elneny – Besiktas (Turkey)

Super Lig – Besiktas shared the spoils with Trabzonspor as they drew 2-2 in the 23rd fixture. Elneny played the full 90 minutes and was shown a yellow card in the second half. The Black Eagles sit seventh with 37 points and will travel to face Alanyaspor next week.

Desert Diamond Cup – Tarek featured as Red Bulls edged Sporting Kansas City 2-1 in the Cup’s third fixture. Florian Valot and Cristian Casseres both scored for Reds Bulls as they collected their fifth point occupying the group’s third spot ahead of their MLS opening game against FC Cincinnati on the first of March.

Karim Hafez – Yeni Malatyaspor (Turkey)

Super Lig – Malatyaspor suffered a fifth consecutive league loss as they fell to a 2-1 home defeat against Antalyaspor in Hafez’ presence. Veteran forward Lukas Podolski scored the winner for the visitors in the dying moments of the game to sink Malatyaspor. After the loss, they dropped to the 12th spot with 24 points ahead of their away encounter against Denizlispor next week.

Hussein El-Sayed – CS Sfaxien (Tunisia)

Tunisian Ligue Professionelle – El-Sayed pulled off another impressive performance as CS Sfaxien defeated JS Kairouan 2-1 in the 16th league fixture to cement their position in the league’s second spot with 34 points before facing Rejiche in the Cup on the first of March.

Amr Warda & Aly Ghazal – AE Larisa (Greece)

Super League – Warda played the full 90 minutes, while, Ghazal missed as 10-man Larisa were held to a dull goalless draw by Volos NFC in matchweek 25. Following the draw, Larisa occupy the 11th spot with 27 points and will host Asteras Tripolis on the first of March.

Ahmed Hassan ‘Kouka’ – Olympiacos (Greece)

Super League – The inform striker came on as a substitute in the 69th minute as Olympiacos edged PAOK 1-0 in the Super League, thanks to Dimitrios Giannoulis’ own goal that secured the full points for the Red & Whites. After the win, Olympiacos stabilized their position on top of the league table with 63 points ahead of their UEFA Europa League return clash against Arsenal on Feb.27.

Mohamed Salah – Liverpool (England)

Premier League – Salah reached his 15th league goal as he scored in Liverpool’s difficult 3-2 win against West Ham United in the Premier League. Georginio Wijnaldum, Salah and Sadio Mane were all on the scoresheet for the Reds, meanwhile, Issa Diop and Pablo Fornals scored for the Hammers. The win sends Liverpool closer towards securing the league title as they top the league table with 79 points before facing Watford on Feb.29.

Ahmed Hegazi – West Bromwich Albion (England)

Championship – The Egyptian defender secured another cleansheet as West Brom defeated Preston North End 2-0 in the 35th league fixture. Hal Robson-Kanu opened the scoring in the sixth minute and Jack Livermore made it 2-0 in the 45th minute to send the Baggies to the 69th minute as they remain on top of the table ahead of their anticipated clash against Sam Morsy’s Wigan on the 29th of February.
