Thank you for reading the news about Ahmed Hassan Kouka’s move to Olympiacos confirmed – Report and now with the details
Egypt international Ahmed Hassan ‘Kouka’ has reportedly rejoined Greek side Olympiacos coming from SC Braga.
Kouka has been sidelined with an ankle injury that he suffered back in October, forcing him to make just six appearances this season and score once in their opening league game.
Now after having recovered from the injury, the 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from Braga this transfer window, with Portuguese side Paços de Ferreira seemingly interested in the striker.
However according to Greek news outlet Sports DNA, Kouka is set to complete his move to Olympiacos and is only pending the medical test.
He will be joining the Greek giants as replacement for Portuguese forward Daniel Podence who signed for Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.
This could be an opportunity for him to secure more playing time this season and receive his call-up for the national team.
Olympiacos are currently top of the Greek league table, and while they are unbeaten in the 20 games they have had so far they are still just a point clear of rivals PAOK.
