- Yasmine El Tohamy - Former Al Ahly midfielder Shehab El-Din Ahmed has joined Saudi Arabia’s third-division side Al Taqadum FC on a free transfer.

Ahmed joins Al Taqadom on a six-month deal with an option to extend his time in Saudi Arabia.

The 29-year-old joined newly-promoted Aswan last summer, however, they terminated his contract this week.

The former Al Ahly midfielder started his career with the Red Devils as he came through their youth sector before getting promoted to the first team in 2009.

He then played for multiple Egyptian Premier League outfits, including Talaa’ El-Geish, Petrojet, Entag El-Harby, and Al-Assiouty (currently known as Pyramids FC).

Overall, Ahmed made 126 appearances in the Egyptian Premier League, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.
