After the win, the Villans remain 18th with 18 points before facing Warford on the 28th of December.

Ahmed Hegazi – West Bromwich Albion (England)

Championship – Hegazi returned to the starting lineup and was shown a yellow card as West Brom were held to a 1-1 draw by Barnsley in the 24th league fixture. Filip Krovinovic opened the scoring early in the game, however, Aapo Halme scored at the death to level things up. Following the draw, the Baggies remain on top of the league table with 51 points ahead of their clash against Middlesbrough.

Sam Morsy – Wigan (England)

Championship – Morsy played the full game as Wigan fell to a late draw against Derby County in the Championship. Joe Garner broke the deadlock for the Latics in the 81st minute, however, Martyn Waghorn equalised for the Rams in the third minute of injury time. Wigan remain rock bottom at the league table with 20 points and will face Nottingham Forest in the next fixture.

Mohamed Salah – Liverpool (England)

Premier League – The Egyptian King played 70 minutes in his team’s big 4-0 victory against second place Leicester City, to reach the 52nd point and extend their unbeaten run. The Reds are set to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Dec.29.

Mohamed Elneny – Besiktas (Turkey)

Super Lig – Elneny featured as Besiktas returned to winning ways with an impressive 4-1 victory against Genclerbirligi in 17th league fixture. The win takes, the Black Eagles to the fifth spot with 30 points ahead of their friendly game against Mezokovesd SE on Jan.8.

Mahmoud Trezeguet & Ahmed Elmohamady – Aston Villa (England)

Premier League – Elmohamady played, meanwhile, Trezeguet remained on the bench as Watford thrashed the Villans in a disappointing 3-0 defeat. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Troy Deneey scored a brace to to snatch the full points for his side. Following the loss, the Villans sit 18th with 18 points ahead of their trip to Burnley on the 1st of January.

Championship – The Egyptian defender continued to start for the second game in a row as the Baggies suffered a shocking 2-0 defeat against Middlesbrough in the 25th league fixture. After the loss, Hegazi’s side dropped to the second spot with 51 points before facing Leeds United on Jan.1.

Sam Morsy – Wigan (England)

Championship – The Latics suffered another defeat as they fell to a narrow 1-0 loss against Nottingham Forest in the 25th league fixture. Tobias Figueiredo scored one hour into the game to secure the full points for the visitors.
