Al-Juhani: Air depressions will enter the region during the next two weeks

Atmospheric expert and researcher in climatic phenomena, member of the Committee for the Nomenclature of Distinguished Climatic Cases, Ziad Al-Juhani, confirmed to “Previously” that temperatures are expected to drop, especially at night, to reach less than twenty degrees in the north and center of the country, moderate during the day and not exceed thirty degrees by the end of this week. Al-Juhani added: “This is a transitional period between summer and winter, during which the length of the night becomes greater than the length of the day in the northern part of the globe, and the time difference continues upward until the night becomes longer than the beginning of winter in December.”

He pointed out, “We are now living in a transitional period in which the atmosphere changes and turbulence increases over many countries in the northern part of the globe. We find that it becomes intense in Europe at the beginning of autumn, then gradually moves towards the Arab region, where the deepening and penetration of cold air increases from north to south; This generates atmospheric instability, resulting in the start of the rainy season, accompanied by a clear decrease in temperatures from high levels above the forty to more moderate levels around the twentieth, and the start of marking will be tomorrow on 3/10/1443 AH corresponding to October 16, 2021.

Al-Juhani indicated that “it is expected that the depressions will begin to penetrate into our airspace during the next two weeks, announcing the actual beginning of the rainy season, as it is expected that the rainy cases will begin on Tabuk, then Al-Jawf, the northern borders, Hail and Al-Hafar in general, but the areas between the central Red Sea are considered Al-Qassim, western Riyadh, Hail and the northern eastern region are the most fortunate, and they have priority during the marking period of this year, God willing.”

Al-Juhani concluded: “These days usually witness an increase in the frequency of respiratory diseases as a result of the increase in temperature fluctuation and the spread of pollen in the atmosphere, so it is recommended to follow the well-known general advice to reduce exposure to influenza, especially for children, the elderly and those with weak immunity.”
