Yesterday, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Sager, handed over the medical aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Tunisia, which includes high-performance oxygen generators, in providing oxygen to a number of hospitals and health centers.The inauguration of the reception was attended by the Tunisian Minister of Health, Mr. Ali Al-Mrabet, the advisor to the president, Mr. Walid Al-Hajjam, the Director of Military Health, Lieutenant-General Mustafa Al-Ferjani, and Admiral Atallah, the security advisor at the Presidency of the Republic. Ambassador Al-Sager praised the efforts made by the Kingdom to help sister Tunisia to overcome the Corona crisis.

He stressed that this aid is an extension of what the Kingdom has provided to Tunisia during the past months.

For his part, the Tunisian Minister of Health, Mr. Al-Mrabet, the President’s advisor, Mr. Walid Al-Hajjam, and officials in the presidency and military health, valued the Kingdom’s distinguished efforts, which confirm the depth of the relationship between the two brotherly countries.

A plane carrying 2,000 medical oxygen cylinders, representing the first batch of oxygen and its supplies, which were secured by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, arrived in Tunisia during the past two weeks, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

It is noteworthy that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in Muharram last, directed the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action to urgently support Tunisia with medical oxygen and its supplies. The advisor at the Royal Court, General Supervisor of the King Salman Relief Center Abdullah Al-Rabiah at the time, explained that this additional aid includes “3,000” oxygen cylinders, and “5” oxygen generators for five Tunisian hospitals, and securing containers to transport “200” tons of liquid oxygen, in addition to To secure the special supplies to support the oxygen, noting that the center started securing and transferring the first batch of this aid.
