In the video, Majed explains the rights of the adulterous woman

Riyadh (Echo):

Sheikh Suleiman Al-Majid answered a question about a woman’s rights if she betrayed her husband.

Al-Majed refused during the program “Istaftounak” to describe “a traitor”, stressing that the word “adulterous” is the most appropriate Sharia.

Al-Majed said: “The woman if she commits adultery or the man if he commits adultery, and the two parties desire to complete their relationship. The rights are complete between the two parties, and neither of them is permitted to humiliate the other by his action.”

He continued: “The man has no right to say that I have kept her, but I humiliate her, as long as he is sure of her repentance and before she is his wife, and she has the full rights of the wife without deficiency.”

Al-Majid cited God Almighty’s saying: “And make good friends with them,” and the Almighty said: “And I will take from you a strong bond.”

He added, “It is not permissible for a husband to tell his wife that she is a traitor and has no rights, and he continues to humiliate her by that.”
