My memory opens the gates of nostalgia for Safwa, that nice city that belongs to the Qatif governorate, which I visited for the first time coming from her father about 19 years ago as I was a child in the sixth of my primary school, and I visited again again while I am in the second average to live in it for months and study there one semester, so that I have the opportunity to live in another beautiful part of my country, in a community inhabited by good people.With shivering steps, I went for the first time to my school in Safwa, the vice-principal took me to the class in which I would study, it was empty, to take me to the science laboratory, in which the students and the teacher were present, I entered shyly to introduce me to their supervisor and tell them that I am a new student, they welcomed me, and the teacher asked me where You, to answer her, then she asked me why did you come from her father here? Let a naughty Shiite girl called “Azhar” intervene immediately, and tell the teacher that she should not ask me that question and not embarrass me, because maybe I have circumstances that I do not want to talk about, so the teacher will be silent and shut up and start the first class with them.

Our class wasn’t just a classroom; Rather, it was a small example of coexistence, tolerance, love and acceptance of the other in this vast country. There are girls from the Shiite sect, others from the Sunni sect, a girl of Syrian nationality, and girls of brown skin. Sectarianism, racism and hatred did not know the way to our small class and to our hearts, where we spend our school day in Harmony, we exchange conversations, and we make joy whenever possible.

Safwa left a long time ago, and she remained in me with her memories and beautiful details; The girls of the class wrapped around me in my first days at school and their conversations with me, our mutual admiration for me and “Azhar” with the song “Diana Haddad”, the Arabic teacher who used to decorate our ears by speaking in classical Arabic, “Zainab” who next door to me in the classroom, my return home from school on foot Watching black fabrics on the walls and between homes during the mourning ceremonies held by our Shiite family on the anniversary of the killing of Hussein bin Ali, grandson of God’s Messenger in the Battle of Karbala. I was a young girl and very silent while I was living there. I did not say at the time all that I had to say to my schoolmates and teachers, and to Safwa, who embraced me as if I was one of her daughters. In her are safe, I did not tell every girl in my class that I loved her with all her differences in sect, beliefs and color … I did not tell my teachers that they were nice, virtuous, and truly good citizens. Because they did not differentiate in their treatment of us, and none of them preferred a girl from the sect to which she belongs to a girl from another sect.

There is no difference between Raihan Abha and Mashmum Safwa, both of them are one plant despite the difference in their names, and so are we in this country, as there is no difference between a Sunni citizen and another Shiite, for we are all sons of this land that alone King Abdulaziz for 90 years on the principle of harmony, tolerance and moderation, and he was martyred in defense of it In 2016 the nullity, Sadiq Al-Awad, who belongs to the Shiite sect, and Abd al-Razzaq al-Melhem, who belongs to the Sunni sect, so that their martyrdom would be the greatest proof of our unity so that Saudi Arabia would remain proud and forever our one home that is filled with love, tranquility and safety
