The President and CEO of Saudi , Eng. Amin Al-Nasser, is participating virtually in the Saudi Business Group (B20) summit of the Group of Twenty, to be held on 9 and 10 Rabi Al-Awal 1442 AH corresponding to 26 and 27 October.
Al-Nasser will participate in the second day of the summit, which is held under the auspices of the G20 Presidency in the Kingdom, where he will speak in a panel discussion entitled “Mobilizing Efforts to Save the Planet”, moderated by Dr. Manar Al-Munif, Chair of the Board of Directors and CEO of General Electric for Renewable Energy in the Middle East and North Africa. Two panelists will also speak alongside him, Emma Marcigaglia, former President of Eni, and Patrick Boyan, Chairman and CEO of Total.
The Saudi Business Group (B20) summit will bring together world business leaders around the theme of “Transformation with a view to inclusive growth”. The event aims to shed light on the policies and business practices necessary to achieve this goal.
In his speech during the discussion session, Engineer Al-Nasser will address the role the energy sector plays in addressing the phenomenon of climate change, and the related initiatives taken by Saudi Aramco. He will also talk about Saudi Aramco carrying out its role in finding effective energy solutions through the carbon-based economy, and about Proposed solutions to the challenges faced by small and medium businesses around the world, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
