The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf” and the Marketing Association have completed a memorandum of cooperation to train, qualify and employ national cadres in the marketing professions in the private sector, by providing sustainable jobs, developing quality standards and professional accreditation, and raising the skill level of Saudis in line with Labor market needs.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed, in the presence of the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf” Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jaouini, and the Executive Supervisor of Client Experience and Institutional Communication in the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development Abdulaziz Al-Shamsan, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association Marketing Dr. Khalid bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi.

According to the memorandum of cooperation, the three bodies will work to localize the marketing professions in the private sector, by raising the skill and professional level of national cadres, developing their capabilities, raising their competitive advantage, and providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary for the labor market, in an effort to replace them in place of expatriate workers.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development will have to study and analyze the current situation of the marketing professions, monitor the indicators of occupational exposure to the marketing professions, and coordinate with the relevant authorities to develop training programs for the professions targeted for their settlement, and work to achieve the agreed Emiratisation targets.

Whereas, the Human Resources Development Fund will hold periodic employment forums in all regions of the Kingdom, and enable the private sector to achieve Emiratisation goals by providing training programs, supporting rehabilitation and training programs provided by the Marketing Association according to the procedures and mechanisms followed by the Fund, and approving training programs for targeted professions in Cooperation Memorandum.

According to the signed memorandum, the Marketing Association will work to determine the training needs of professions and prepare the training content for them, define the targeted professions based on the reality of the market, and coordinate with the relevant authorities to develop laws and regulations for issuing licenses to marketers, and coordinate with the relevant authorities to develop educational and training curricula in the authorities Educational support that supports the qualification of Saudi marketers.

The association will also work to develop appropriate training and qualification programs to build professional skills and marketing competencies, support and direct the recruitment process and facilitate communication between Saudi youth with job opportunities providers, and the association will also coordinate and supervise cooperative training for students in coordination with companies and authorities in the Kingdom.
