In response to the boycott of Turkish products … Erdogan’s advisor...

The advisor to the Turkish President Yassin Oktay considered that the Saudi leadership is the one who directs the boycott of Turkish products in the Kingdom.

Oktay wrote in an article titled “The Mentality behind the Saudi Boycott of Turkish Products: Being Unaware that Razak is God,” that the campaign to boycott Turkish products in the Kingdom is receiving “semi-official support even though the Saudi authorities have not announced this.”

Oktay pointed out that the head of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce, Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, is leading this campaign with some close to the royal family, believing that his moves cannot fall within the framework of freedom of expression without being directed by the decision-making center in Saudi Arabia.

He pointed out that Riyadh continues to deny its involvement in such moves because it is “illegal under the binding provisions in international trade agreements and free trade agreements.”

He continued: “A lot of criticism is spreading on social media platforms, without some Arab leaders realizing that by taking such steps – thinking that they will undermine Turkey’s position in the hearts of peoples – they are in fact humiliating themselves and degrading themselves in the eyes of their people.”

And he considered that there is another sick mentality that drives such moves, which he described as “putting themselves in the place of God who provides sustenance.” He explained: “God is the one who is the one who has this wealth and made it for them as a test, but on the other hand they were struck by vanity and arrogance, forgetting that it was their provider. He is able to regain his livelihood whenever he wants. ”

He pointed out that “the infidels of the Quraish previously followed this method to dissuade the Messenger … and whoever embraces Islam with him on the path of truth,” adding: “Those who are ignorant of God is the one in whose possession the wealth is, they are the same who, not long ago, made restrictions on Qatar and its boycott. It is an illusion of the power of money, which makes them think that they can tame whoever they want, do whatever they want and buy people’s debts. ”

He also accused Saudi Arabia of being “still angry at Turkey over the issue of the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi … In fact, they are an obstacle to achieving justice and revealing the guilty, who killed an innocent soul on Turkish soil.”

And recently, a wide range of Saudi institutions and companies operating in the various commercial and industrial sectors announced their joining the boycott of Turkish products in the largest response of its kind to the campaign, which has been publicly supported by some officials, members of the ruling family and the semi-official media in the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia ranks 15th in the list of the largest Turkish export markets, as its sales, led by carpets, textiles, chemicals, grains, furniture and steel, amounted to 1.91 billion dollars in the first eight months of this year, and this represents a decrease of 17% from 2019, as this indicator reached at that time. $ 2.3 billion.
