Only 9 Arab countries appeared in the index that assessed the capabilities and assets that countries possess that help them overcome the crisis and recover from it, with the aim of developing effective policies to deal with this challenge.
Countries were selected based on the availability of data, and the use of specially designed data to measure three main axes: the resilience of the health system, the ability of countries to absorb the economic shock, and the economic resilience.
The Arab countries are ranked in the index. As follows: The UAE ranked first in the Arab world, Saudi Arabia ranked second, Kuwait third, Egypt fourth, and Jordan ranked fifth.
Morocco ranked sixth, Algeria ranked seventh, Lebanon ranked eighth, and Tunisia came in ninth.
