Riyadh – Mubasher:‎The Saline Water Conversion Corporation and the Saudi Authority for Industrial Estates and Technology Zones (MODON) have signed an agreement to supply the Sudair City for Industry and Business facilities with desalinated water..

The Foundation stated, according to a statement issued today, Monday, that the agreement was signed to support vital projects that are consistent with its pioneering role in the manufacture, production and transportation of desalinated water, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030..

The agreement, which is the first joint cooperation in the field of desalinated water supply between desalination and “Modon”, allows for the possibility of increasing the quantities of water to more than 5,000 cubic meters per day according to the future growth of the industrial city..

The Foundation continued that cooperation frameworks are currently being researched and developed between the two sides, to ensure the sustainability of desalinated water supplies, in addition to providing technical and engineering services by (desalination) to industrial cities stations in (cities).

The agreement comes in the framework of partnership with the public and private sectors in order to empower the industry and contribute to increasing local content and modernizing basic services and facilities in industrial cities, in accordance with the initiatives assigned to “MODON” to be implemented in the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program “Nadlib” in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
