The College of Community Service and Continuing Education at Umm Al-Qura University announced the launch of a “Professional Diploma in Aviation Ground Operations”, the first of its kind in the Kingdom to prepare national and intermediate cadres in the aviation industry and to fulfill the Saudization requirements in the aviation ground operations sector.
The diploma program aims to train and qualify the nation’s cadres – young men and women – and provide them with scientific and practical experiences in this field. It is also the nucleus of an integrated training system in the aviation industry.
The Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sharif, explained that the study program is based on the latest educational and technical means that meet the need for the labor market for such important specializations, and aims to develop services in the Kingdom’s airports, provide job opportunities for Saudi cadres, spread the culture of the aviation industry, in addition to developing the capabilities of Current employees in the aviation ground operations and development sector.
The college provided the opportunity for those wishing to enroll in the program from all regions of the Kingdom to submit their applications through the online portal, as of last Sunday 2/17/1442 AH for a period of two weeks.
