Oil prices continued to rise, today, Tuesday, and the “Brent” mix rose during trading above the level of 82 dollars a barrel, for the first time since October 2018.
According to the “Bloomberg” website, “Brent” crude was trading at 15:15 Moscow time, at 82.36 dollars a barrel, an increase of 1.35% from yesterday’s closing price.
Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 1.07% to $78.45 a barrel.
The rise comes after the “OPEC +” group decided to adhere to the current production policy, and said that they would maintain an agreement to gradually increase oil production, ignoring calls from the United States and India to raise production with the recovery of the global economy.
