The  pointing operation of this foreign national, carried out in the database of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), revealed that he was wanted at the international level and was the subject of a Red Notice issued by the French judicial authorities, and this for his alleged implication in the exposure of two minor children of his relatives to sexual assault in Valenciennes, in France, indicates the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a press release.

The  suspect was taken into custody in accordance with the extradition procedure, while the competent French authorities were notified of this arrest in order to expedite the transfer of the extradition file, the same source said.

This arrest falls within the framework of international cooperation relations in the security fields, as well as within the framework of the efforts made by the Moroccan security services to track down those wanted at the international level for cross-border crimes, concludes the DGSN.
