Russian influencer kills woman in humiliating way to satisfy followers’ request

A “joke” performed during a live broadcast by Telegram ended in tragedy on Wednesday (2).

The case occurred in the city of Ivanovka, on the outskirts of Moscow, where Russian influencer Stanislav Reshetnikov lives, better known as Reeflay Panini, who performed a live for his followers, in which he simply answered some requests made by chat.

Reshetnikov, 28, was accompanied by some friends at his home, who helped him carry out his followers’ requests. Among those friends was Valentina Grigorieva, 26, who was the victim of one of those requests. Some netizens proposed to pay a thousand dollars for the influencer to throw pepper spray on his face and put her on the street wearing only panties and bra.

The challenge was met: Reshetnikov threw pepper gas in Grigorieva’s face, who started screaming and calling for help. Soon, she was stripped and taken outside the house, where, according to reports, she remained for a few hours, in the cold of the Russian autumn.

Upon returning, she was lying on the sofa that is just behind the chair where the influencer was talking to the audience, and it is possible to see his body stop moving.

Reshetnikov continued to broadcast his live, despite Valentina’s condition. In his defense, he claimed that he did not realize that Grigorieva was ill, but that as soon as he noticed something strange, he tried to revive her and called the ambulance.

In a press release, Reshetnikov said he did nothing wrong and believes that Valentina Grigorieva’s death may have been caused by a drug overdose – he also said that he himself does not use drugs.

Russian police are investigating the death and say overdose is one of the possibilities, but also considering the effect of pepper gas, exposure to cold for more than an hour or a combination of factors.
