She pointed out that the initial ruling issued is related only to the court’s authority to hear the case that did not address the basis of the dispute.

The association concluded in its statement that the defendant Lebanese banks come back and confirm that the plaintiffs’ allegations are completely devoid of validity and credibility, which are flimsy and unrealistic allegations, as well as affirming their commitment to the global and local legal rules in force with regard to combating money laundering and combating terrorism.

She pointed out that “the false and null defendant banks will continue, through their lawyers in the United States of America, to defend their rights and legitimate dealings, dismiss lawsuits and refute the plaintiffs’ false allegations.”
