The competitions this season are wearing a new dress after the adoption of new modifications to the boat approved by the Dubai International Marine Club; Where the number of the boat crew was determined to be 9, including (one skate and 8 sailors), of whom 7 were citizens of the state, and two were residents on condition of identification, and it was decided that the weight of the boat should be open and made of wood (Say).
It is expected that the event will witness the participation of more than 40 boats, led by the 2019 Al Maktoum Cup holder and the leader of the ranking last season, the boat «Oman 44» representing the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to the sister boats of the Kingdom of Bahrain «Victorious 53» and «Khalidiya 54», to form the race. A beautiful Gulf heritage carnival.
Mohammed Abdullah Hareb, Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Club, welcomed the participants in the race, wishing them success in the Dubai Championship races, leading to the most expensive tournament, the Al Maktoum Cup in the twenty-fourth edition, stressing the need for cooperation between the participants and the committees, to achieve the principle of (everyone Responsible) in order to preserve the health of the participants.
