CoD: Cold War – Players suffer from many problems after a major patch

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War from Activision has not been on the market that long and has already received a lot of criticism. The main issue here is Update 1.06, which was recently released by the developer studio and which brings numerous problems into play. In various forums, the community complains that these errors seem to have been overlooked before the patch was rolled out.

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War – What are the issues?

First and foremost, there are four different problems:

1. Crashes: since the release of Update 1.06, many games have complained of sporadic crashes or disconnections in the middle of the game.
2. Graphics errors: many players report problems with the lighting engine, which lead to colorful, neon-lit characters and objects within the game. This basically makes the game unplayable.
3. Hitbox: in a multiplayer match there have recently been errors when registering hits. For example, certain hits would sometimes simply no longer be counted, which causes a lot of frustration in a multiplayer title.
4. Netcode: the last problem is basically the opposite of problem number three. For example, shots in the area are sometimes counted as hits from an opponent, which seem completely unrealistic. You can see an example of this below:

It remains to be seen to what extent the developer studio will react to criticism from the community. One thing is certain, however: Activision will have to come up with a new update in the near future to neutralize the tense mood.
