The beaten one US President appeared in front of the microphones of the press yesterday, Friday, for the first time since the election results. The US president, who was still in office, avoided speaking about his complaints against the election result, but for the first time admitted – albeit indirectly – a possible defeat.

On the same day, reporters from the press corps of the White house stated that a ditch would be created on the grounds of the presidential office. “A group of workers are digging a trench in front of the briefing room, on the lawn between the driveway and the sidewalk,” wrote Robert Delaney, chief reporter for the South China Morning Post in Washington.
Neither Delaney nor any other correspondent from inside the White house have been able to find out what the trench should be used for. However, numerous commentators have spoken on the Internet. Some already suspect Donald Trump would now switch to “full dictator mode”. Others believe that Donald Trump wants to “finally dig himself in”.
