The debt drama around Boris Becker (51) never ends. He is currently on trial in London. There the tennis star has to answer for not having correctly stated several assets. The ex-athlete is accused of violating his insolvency obligations. They range from hiding real estate to not revealing large sums of money.

One of these properties is said to be Becker’s house in Leimen, where his mother Elvira (85) lives. Now the villa is for sale on the internet. The home offers 449 square meters of living space in a prime location. With the large garden and the chic terrace, the property is a total of 825 square meters. However, potential interested parties also have to dig deep into their pockets. The villa costs 1,970,000 euros (the equivalent of around 2.1 million francs).

But what happens to Becker’s mother Elvira? The pensioner is not put on the street. The only condition when buying is “lifelong right of residence” for Elvira.

It is not clear who exactly has advertised the house for sale. According to “Bild”, the British insolvency administrator is supposed to be behind the ad. So the money would go to Becker’s creditors.

If convicted in the new criminal process, Becker faces a maximum sentence of seven years in prison. The tennis star protested his innocence on Twitter: “Innocent until proven guilty! I deny the allegations against myself and will defend myself with all legal means! ” (klm)
