John van den Brom is currently in the picture to become the new trainer of Racing Genk. The last news know to report that the current coach of FC Utrecht on pole position is to move to Belgium. It is reported that there are already ‘in full negotiation’ about the settlement of his contract in the Dom City until mid-2022.

Genk is looking for a new trainer after the departure of Jess Thorup to FC Copenhagen. The Danish coach had only been at the helm of the Belgian club since September, when he became the successor to the dismissed Hannes Wolf. The moment Wolf had to pack his bags, Van den Brom was already in the picture at Genk.
