In the identity card, the CPF number informed does not belong to Cupertino. In the document, Manoel Machado da Silva appears to be the son of Carlos Pereira da Silva and Maria Gomes Machado da Silva, while the names of Paulo’s real parents are Manoel Matias Sobrinho and Amélia Cupertino.
According to investigations, Paulo Cupertino was reported to have passed through more than 300 addresses in 10 states and two countries in South America. Bruno Tessari, official investigator of the case, asked for the preventive arrest of the murderer on June 3 this year, after interrogating two friends of the suspect, who told how they helped Cupertino escape from São Paulo shortly after the crime.
