Three thousand two hundred and fifty-four (3,254) new cases of coronavirus infection and 2,417 cures have been recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday.

These deaths are distributed between the regions of Casablanca-Settat (20), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (5), Oriental (5), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (4), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (7), Fès -Meknes (1), Marrakech-Safi (6), Souss-Massa (2) and Draâ-Tafilalet (1).
New cases of contamination were detected in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (1.559), Oriental (384), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (326), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (202), Marrakech-Safi (175 ), Souss-Massa (148), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (140), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (95), Draâ-Tafilalet (80), Fès-Meknès (62), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (46) and Guelmim- Oued Noun (37).
The number of excluded cases stands at 2,905,525, after 20,055 new negative analyzes.
The active cases reached a total of 27,138, while the severe or critical cases numbered 592, of which 58 were placed under intubation. The occupancy rate of the intensive care beds dedicated to Covid-19 is 26%.
The cumulative incidence rate is 493 / 100,000 inhabitants, against an incidence of 24 hours established at 9 / 100,000 inhabitants.
